Last session of touch.
This week we did a passing drill and carried on with doing three man and two man settles.
We first did a passing drill to warm us up and get ready for a game of touch. Then our coach Mark put in two balls to make it challenging. The idea was to not bump in to each other because we were in two lines faceing each other.

Three man and two man settle

kiwi Sport
Today for kiwi sport we played a game of touch.
First our coach reminded us what we've been doing for the past few weaks. We've have been doing 2 man settles and 3 man settles.
Then we practised our 2 man settle and 3 man settle before we played a game. To perform a two man settle you have to have two people. I have to work out who is the dummy half and the other is the person you could pass to. You do it three times so you could gain some meters. The person who is running with the ball has to plant the ball on the ground and the dummy half has to pick up the ball and give it back to me.
After that we played a game of touch. First we took the touch so we could get meters we did it 3 times. When the other team was passing the ball I intercepted the ball and ran as fast as I could and scored a try.

Kiwi Sport | Touch
This week for kiwi sport we learnt how to move around with the ball, catching the ball and passing.
First we learnt how to catch the ball. We got into 2 pairs and stood on a yellow and white line. When your parthner is pasing the ball to you hold up an "w" with your hands. To pass to your partner they have to be at the back of you because if hes infront of you it's gonna be a forward pass.
Next we learnt how to move with the ball while doing ball handles. We threw the ball above our head and tried to catch it. Then we walk forward while doing the ball handles. After that we tried walking backwards and doing the ball handles.
After that we played a game. In the game we practiced all the skills we learnt. We had to put the balls in the colour hoops. When Mr Ogilvie blew his whistle we put the ball on the ground and our partner has to pick it up. The partner couldn't move so the person who put on the ground could move. They move and put the balls in the hoop. One of the balls has to be in each hoop.
I really enjoyed kiwi sport because I learnt how to catch the ball.

Swimming - T3W2
Today for swimming I had my first swimming session. My teacher who taught me was Kelly.
Before swimming we learnt how to enter the pool safely without splashing.
First I learnt a skill called streamline. To do a streamline your arms have to be stright up together in the air.
Next skill we learnt was freestyle. Freestyle is when you swim with no things to do just swimming.
Lastly I learnt float borad. Float borad is knowing how to float on your back and stomatch.
Swimming was fun learning new skills and learning how to float.

Kiwi Sport | Vollyball
In kiwi sport we learnt a new skill. This skill is called dig.
How to do a dig.
Put one foot in front of an another.
Then release your arm down. When you do that body part it is faster to set above you head or dig.
Then when the ball is coming bend down and hit it.
This skills help because when the ball is below you can bend down and hit it with the skill.
