I did an activity callled madlibs. I had to write down a family name, a boy's name , A girls name, another boys name, another girl's name, a number, and a exercise equipment.
First, I wrote down a family name, the name was greens.
I read a fiction book called diary of the wimpy kid by Jeff Kinney.
The main charcters of the book are Greg, Rodrick, and his family. I read 39 pages of the book.
In the beginning of the story Greg’s mum is happy after buying greg a journal. Greg was embarrassed showing his journal to people because it had a diary heading in the front the front of the book.
After seeing a funny video greg wanted to recreate it and be famous but they couldn’t do it because Rowley doesn't want to get hurt.
I enjoyed reading this book because greg always makes good choices either he's getting interupted by rodrick.
I completed multiplacation speed demon challenge.

Next Time I do this task I will do a harder challenge.
I did Steps Web activitys.
First I had to put the words in order to make a sentence. For example: The Immigrants gradually strated to populate the whole area. This activity was called sentence builder.
Then I did a activity called choose the word. For this task we have to chose the word to complete the sentence. For example: She felt ___ when she got the bad news.
I enjoyed Steps Web because it makes me understand new words.
I completed a can-do activity called dance typing mat. This activity is used to practise typing withput looking at the keyboard.
First I went on dance typing ma and pukt up as 15 minute timer.
Next I placed my fingers in the right place.
To finish up I put in my results into a google slide. Then I wrote in what I need to improve on.
I need to practise on looking at the screen instead of looking at the keyboard.
I read a fiction book called bad guys by Aaron Blabey.
I read 1 chapter of the book. The main charcters of the book is a snake, animals, and he teacher.
In the beginning of the story a snake arrives at school. He asks to play with the other animals but they all fear of him. The teacher comes and wackes the snake with the rack. He gets Interrogated by the teacher. The teachers tells him what is he doing at their school.
I enjoyed reading this book because it gave me gosebumps.

First I wrote in my introduction. My introduction was: Valerie Adams is a New Zealand athlete.She was born on the 6th of October 1984 She is also a mother of 2 kids.

I read a book called ghosts from Raina Telgemeier.
I read 22 pages of the book. In the beginning of the story there are 4 characters, Maya, Cat, and their mum and dad. They are at a food store ordering food. Maya and Cat both ask if they are gonna be any food stores at their new town. They're moving to the new town because of their dad's new work.
Another page I read was about Maya and Cat taking a walk to the beach. Cat ends up walking back home with Maya because it was to cold.
I enjoyed reading this book because Maya makes good decisions.
I wrote reasons on a document why we should stop littering.
First I wrote my opinions about littering. Then I went on websites to back up my opinions.
Next I wrote my first reasons about littering. We should throw our plastic in the recycle bin because it can turn into a product.
To finish up I did my last reason. We should not throw our plastic on the ground because it doesn’t make our beaches look nice. Then I linked it with the information I got it from.
I enjoyed doing this task because I learnt how much plastic is in the ocean and how we can change it.
I learned how to do synthesis and QAR based on a text called Fun, Fastastic, Fabulous Fitness.
First we read an article called Fun Fastastic Fabulous Fitness. The text was about why schools should have more time on sports and fitness to be healthy.
Afterwards we did a task called synthesis. Synthesis is are about three boxes. They are prior knowledge, new information, and new understanding. Prior knowledge is something you already know, new information is something you learnt, and new understanding is something you learnt and something you understand.
Finally we did a QAR task. We had to answer the questions and put it in one of the boxes. The boxes were: Right there, Think and search, Author and me, and Own my own.
Right there means you can point the answer in the book. Think and search means the answer is in the book but you have to look in different places to find the answer. Author and me means the answer is no in the text but you use your backround knowledge. On my own means the answer is not in the text but you could come up with your own answers.
I learned a lot about this activity because I used my reading skills to come up with answers.

In the story diary of the wimpy kid, Greg, Rodrick and his family are the main characters. In one of the pages Greg always hated getting picked up by Rodrick because he wasn't allowed in the front, so he prayed everytime he was at the back because of Rodrick's drum sitcks.
I liked Greg in the book because he always descibe everthing in his day.

First I watched a video about brainstorming and planning. Brainstorming is using your knowledge to find ideas about something. Planning is a process of planed ideas
Afterwards I brainstormed some ideas about what I want to persuade. I brainstormed some ideas about my community, my family, and myself.
Lastly, we had to highlight the words in three colours. The colours are representing the trafic light system. Red means stop because it won't proceed, green means proceed, and yellow means slow down.
I learned a lot about brainstorming and how you can use it for different things.

I learnt that bullying is a bad thing to kids.
I did a persuasive poster.
First we watched a video how to disagree without hurting anyone. Then we watched another video about presuasive writing. Then we did an activity about which number was which. For example: the numbers were 18 and 81. From one side it looked like 81 and the other side it looked like 18. It was all about perspective.
Afterwards we did a poster about persuasive language. To persuade is to try and convince a person to believe what you believe. For example: New Zealand is the best country but people from Australia would stand up for their country.
I enjoyed the which number was which because I heard the crowd get louder and louder after they saw the number from their side.
We did a statistical investigation about the amount of blog post we have all together.
The experience was amazing because I learnt new things about statistics
We compared the Oympics to Panmanure Bridge school.
First we did an activity called this vs that. We had to compare the olympic creed, the motto, the values, and the flag to PBS. We had to find out the olympic creed and motto to be able to compare the motto.
Next we did a slide deck about the differences and the similarities. For example: The Olympic creed and the PBS Whakatauki. They are both formal statements which use christian beliefs.
I compled the speed demon challenge subtraction up to 20.
I got 4 minutes and 16 seconds. I got 100/100.
Next time I do this task I will go up a level. I will also try to improve my time.
