Masking Art
In art we were making geometric masking art. Geometric means simple shapes. Masking is hiding an area of something.
We first created the frame with tape. After that we sectioned off the pieces with tape. We had to section off big pieces then section them into small pieces.
After that we started colouring. To colour in the sections we moved the pastels in one direction so it would look smooth.
After colouring all the sections I ripped off the tape that was on my paper and I only got the coloured in parts.

Properties of Light
Light is an element that makes things visible. Property is a characteristic or attribute that something owns.
One property is light can't show though opaque objects. The experiment showed that if you put opaque objects in front of the light the opaque blocked the light. The light can't travel though opaque objects.
Another property is that light can make a rainbow while traveling prism. The experiment showed that when Mr Wong put the flashlight on top of the prism it created a rainbow by splitting the white light.
Another property is that light changes positions on the angle of the mirror. The experiment showed that when the mirror was in front of the flashlight on an angle the mirror reflected off it and when in another direction.

Plurals are nouns that show there is more than one thing.
Most plurals have the letter s at the end of the word to make it a plural, e.g. lions. There is a letter s in front because there is more than one lion.
