TIme

In time there are many types of times. For example: 24 Hour, analogue, centrey and more.  Times can be telled by secounds, minutes , hours, months, days, and many more.

In 24 hours after 1:00 PM it starts with 13 and goes up to 23.  In the 24 hour clock there is AM and PM, the hour comes first, then the minutes, and next the seconds.  Using AM looks like: 9:30, so it often starts with 0.
aIn Analogue if the minute hand points at 6 it means 30 minutes has passed, if it is pointing at the 9 45 minutes has passed, analogue can tell how many minutes has or have passed.

In digital time we often read in o'clock, it is also easy to read digital time because we can just read through the numbers.

Metaphors

Metaphors compare things that share a similar quality by saying that one object is the other.

For example: The boy has ants in his pants. The main object is the boy. The comparison is ants.

Another example is: The girl has the heart of a lion. The main object is the girl. The comparison is the heart.

Metaphors can help descibe object.

SImile | Writing

Similes are a comparison of two things using “like” or “as … as”.

The like simile is used with a verb. For example using like:
Oscar swims like a dolphin.
She sings like a angel.
Jack  and hi sister always fights like cat and dogs

The as simile is used for an adjective. For examples using as:
Josh is as small as a mouse.
Texas is as fast as Usain Bolt.
The frog is as green as the grass.
